Book List

I feel everyone should have a booklist. A list of favorite books and a list of books to read. My full book list is coming soon… Here’s a budding list of Inspirational Books

Here are a few books I read recently and are currently sitting on my bookshelf next to my desk:

The Art of Living - Bob Proctor with Sandra Gallagher -

The Art of Living was a Christmas gift from my life coach, Barbara. We were wrapping up a guided mastermind group and she hand picked this book for me. It’s a book I’ve read several times since I’ve received it.

The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho -

The Alchemist came into my life when I needed a reminder of the magic in the world all around us. It opened my eyes and my heart and resonated with my soul.

This is the latest book from, Chris Guillebeau. This is his first fiction book. It’s a parable like story (instead of his usual real life stories in his previous books, Side Hustle and The $100 Startup).

The main character, Jake Aarons, undertakes a series of challenges, first learning how to make $1,000 in a single weekend, and ultimately how to discover the untapped skills he needs to take control of his finances and his life.

879 Funny, Funky, Hip, And Hilarious Puns -Gary Blake -

This was a birthday gift from my great friend, David K. If you groan when I share a pun, you might have this book to blame.

Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant - Robert T. Kiyosaki -

I read Cashflow Quadrant immediately after Rich Dad, Poor Dad and it challenged my view of what a business really was and opened my mind to a new way of thinking and leveraging my time for money.

Side Hustle Blueprint - Lise Cartwright -

I was looking for the book Side Hustle by Chris Guillebeau and accidentally ran across this one. Since I actually create blueprints, I decided to add both of these to my bookshelf too.

Side Hustle; From Idea To Income In 27 Days -Chris Guillebeau -

I heard a podcast about this book and since features my “side hustle” ideas, I figured I’d learn how I can improve my side hustle game with this book. Also, be sure to check out:

Getting Things Done The Art of Stree-Free Productivity -David Allen -

I’m currently reading this book and I definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

How To Win Friends And Influence People - Dale Carnegie -

This is a book I have never read, but I find it on business leader book lists all the time. I’ll be reading it in 2019.

Simon Sinek has become one of my favorite speakers on business ideas. These are my next 3 books on my to-read list.

Talk Like Ted - Carmine Gallo -

We all want to become captivating speakers. Here is a great book on how to speak like a pro.
