Happy 2024! I’m excited about this new year together with you!
My goal is to make www.TofuAlan.net continuously better as I transfer content, ideas, and themes from my previous site, www.TofuAlan.com. I plan to create new pages and update and modify the website weekly so I can bring you all the content and services I’d love to share with you this year. Cheers!
Who is TofuAlan? If you want to know more, you can visit the About Me section. In a nutshell, I love to dance, sing, hike, dine, teach, swim, play, cruise, karaoke, explore, travel, work, write, read, share, network, and explore the subjects of poker, mining, cryptocurrencies, play board games and much, much more.
This website is a way to easily share some of my favorite activities, events, and thoughts with you. If I saw something that piqued my interest, I’ll probably write about it and post it in the blog section of this site. If it’s a more significant part of my life, it may become a dedicated page or spawn a separate website. I’m still feeling things out and rearranging as I see fit, and I’m always open to suggestions too. Happy reading and I hope you have fun exploring!

I took my first drafting class when I was 14 years old, and I have been working in this field for over 20 years. If you require design services for a new restaurant or bar, these are my favorite projects to design (most likely, because I love doing research in these establishments).
I also enjoy designing custom homes and living spaces for you and your family. These include room additions, granny flat conversions, accessory dwelling units, ADUs, and 2nd story additions.

What is the burrito project? In a nutshell, The Burrito Project is a group of friends who get together and make burritos for the hungry in their community. I’ve been working with the burrito project for over ten years.

I’m sure you have heard the expression, two left feet. That was me before taking dance classes. Now, I’ve been teaching dance classes for over 20 years and specialize in swing dancing & salsa dancing. I can also help you get ready for your first wedding dance.

#6 Music – Wedding Singer & Cantor
I started singing in choirs as a teenager and eventually auditioned and was accepted into a local chorale based in Los Angeles. The experience gave me the opportunity to develop and train my voice. I have been working as a church musician & cantor for over ten years and have had the privilege and honor to sing at many of my friends’ weddings.

My mother always wanted me to become a priest. Maybe this was a close second? The County of Los Angeles allows friends and family to officiate a wedding, and several friends and family members asked me to officiate their wedding for them. After the 3rd wedding I officiated, a friend suggested becoming an ordained minister, and I followed their advice, and voila, I am now an officially ordained minister.
